It helps students perform lab experiments while sitting in their classrooms related to environment subject. Teachers can now take this cart to any other classroom as it has 4 strong silicon wheels with brakes and the material used in its making is stainless steel, making it to last longer than expectations.

This bundle includes a cart that can efficiently charge 8 tablets and 8 Labdisc units without any interruptions as it contains a central built-in charging unit and an external electricity entry point. Likewise the lockable doors and the pneumatic arm on the top prevents the tablets and the Labdisc units from getting damaged or misplaced. The tablets compatible for charging are the Android Intel® and iPads. In case the teachers are concerned that the devices might get heated, then they should not worry at all as there is fan ventilation inside the cart that helps to temperature balanced.

 The Enviro STEM Lab Is Portable, Convenient and Cost Efficient

The Labdisc Enviro is a resourceful solution for K-12 science which does not require any setup time. It contains wireless sensors for barometer, sound level, colorimeter, dissolved oxygen (electrode sold separately), GPS, IR temperature, PH, relative humidity, temperature, turbidity and universal input. The Labdisc can survive in the temperature range that is between -10 to 50 °C (14 to 122 °) F. With the the GlobiLab & GlobiWorld MultiPlatform software, students can now analyze real-time data samples with a sampling speed of 10/s. as a result of which they can easily create authentic scientific response. The responses are not limited to that particular sample or area but they can connect these science concepts/responses with the world around them. In the end the Labdisk is helping them to learn and gather practical knowledge.  

With the interesting GPS data logging feature, the actual location of the measurements can be sited. Students can then later map the weather or the local pollution conditions for comparing their data with other schools and places. The Labdisc Enviro is perfect for elementary, middle and high schools.

    Q) How can I initiate the GPS on the Labdisk?

    A. When the Labdisk is used for the first time, the GPS is already in the cold start mode as a result it may take 20 to 30 minutes max. to sync. First the GPS needs to be synched with 3 or more than 3 satellites so you can achive accurate global positioning coordinates. Once you have synched there will be an antenna like icon ( ) shown on the display. Later even if you turn off the Labdisk, it will remember the sync data and in the future within a minute the GPS will be synched.

     

    Q) How can the memory be erased on the Labdisk from the Android App?

    A. Connect the Labdisk with the Globilab app on the tablet. In the top action bar there is an ‘options’ icon  then from the menu simply select the ‘clean Labdisk’ option.

    A. Connect the Labdisk with the Globilab app on the iPad. You will see an icon which looks like this , tap and hold the download icon. Once you have done this, the app will automatically open a dialogue box which lets you clean the memory.
