PLANAR PT1745R 17in LCD Serial/USB controller is a 5-wire resistive touch screen which makes it ideal for use in Kiosks, retail, POS, healthcare and educational applications. The attached desk stand allows users to tilt the monitor from -5 to 90 degrees. It can even be interfaced with a thin client or a PC. Planar PT1745R comes with built-in speakers and an internal power supply. It has a dual serial/USB connection interface and displays clear and bright visuals owing to a high contrast ratio of 1000:1. The 170 degree viewing angle of the Planar PT1745R makes the picture viewable even from the sideways.
