Infrared touch displays use LED and photo sensors around its edges to respond to touches on its display’s surface. It can accurately interpret movements on the display’s surface. An infrared touch display responds to fingers, gloves, stylus or pen movements on its surface. However, dust or dirt can interfere with the technology in accurately pinpointing the movements.
